For those of us that have been patiently waiting for SelfBank Mobile to launch in the U.S. we still have a little more waiting to go.  Don’t fret though, it appears that they are planning to begin the U.S. deployment by the end of the year according to the president of SelfBank Financial Jonathan Anderson.

If you live in Canada then you can already use their services, since the SelfBank corporate offices are located there.  Canada is currently in beta-live phase.  The beta testing is going smooth so far and they are working out the bugs before they open into the larger U.S. market.

As of July 2009 SelfBank Financial has expanded their Montreal offices and opened up new offices in Ecuador and Dallas, TX.  The current expansion strategy includes opening Mexico and the UK as well as more in the U.S.  Along with expanding the SelfBank facilities, the website is new and improved and you can begin to start using some of the new features.

Expected features to be coming soon are iphone and blackberry apps, Facebook and Twitter integration as well as other social networking sites.
